Product Features

SP is a cross-linked polymer emulsion thickener copolymerized by acrylate and methacrylate. SP is an alkali-soluble thickener containing an acidic group that has a very low viscosity in acidic media but can obtain a high viscosity in alkaline media. SP has high molecular weight, strong thickening ability, good anti-settling and anti-mildew, and is easy to use. SP can effectively increase the low shear viscosity of the coating, improve spatter and sagging.

Applications

1. Emulsified silicone defoamer, the recommended dosage is 1-3%.
2. Fabric coating, the recommended addition amount is 0.5-1%.
3. Paint printing, the recommended addition amount is 1-3%.
4. Spunlace non-woven slurry. The recommended dosage is 1-3%

Suggested Usage

1. Use ammonia to adjust the pH value of the system to be thickened to 8-9.
2. Mix SP and water in a ratio of 1:1 (or 1:2).
3. In the state of low-speed stirring, slowly add the diluted SP to the system to be thickened, and stop adding it after reaching the specified viscosity.

Packing and storage

25kg packing This product should be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse, protected from direct sunlight, and transported and stored at a temperature of 5 °C Above, the storage period is 6 months.
